 Crystal Radio Sessions, curated by Ashley Mayne, showcases fiction, poetry, creative non-fiction and personal essays by established and emerging writers from the Hudson Valley. Crystal Radio believes in the power of the spoken word and is devoted to transmitting compelling literary expression through the ether. This fall’s reading will feature “Angela Lives“ by J. Arthur Boyle, and “The Tintype of Billy the Kid” by Pamela Ryder.

J. Arthur Boyle is no longer a carpenter. His fiction has appeared in Fence, RECLINER, Forever, and elsewhere, and critical work has appeared in Verso, Publisher's Weekly, and Vol. 1 Brooklyn. He received an MFA from Columbia University, where he was a teaching fellow. He teaches writing at CUNY, and is currently at work on an artist's book as an artist-in-residency at the Wassaic Project. Pamela Ryder is the author of a short story collection, A Tendency to Be Gone, and two novels in stories, Correction of Drift and Paradise Field. “The Tintype of Billy the Kid” is from a new novel about that young desperado on the run at the end of his short and violent life. Frank is an actor-writer based in the Hudson Valley. Film/TV: FBI, Blue Bloods, Z Nation, Thin Skin. Frank is a new dad and he is also the owner/operator of a vintage clothing store, Clubhouse Vintage, in Rosendale, NY.
