Ancram Opera House presents its 3rd edition of Summer Play Lab! Each year, the play lab residency offers artists of all practices a space to develop and present a work-in-progress showing as part of AOH’s summer season.

This summer, AOH is delighted to welcome back Tidtaya Sinutoke, Isabella Dawis, and Nana Dakin to continue working on SUNWATCHER, and Celeste Lecesne to further develop POOF!

The Summer Play Lab project was designed to support theatre artists in cultivating innovative theatre to be presented in the future at AOH or elsewhere. Selected artists spend a two-month residency with AOH to bring their emerging pieces closer towards a fully realized production. Throughout the residency, AOH makes efforts to connect the artist with the community in meaningful ways. This year’s community events include a combination of interactive workshops, open rehearsals, and Q&A panels.
